Our Team

Who's treating you

Every injectable at Lumivie is performed by a licensed registered nurse under the supervision of our medical director. That is not the industry standard. It should be.

The things you never think to ask about

01

Products come straight from the manufacturer

We purchase exclusively through authorised distributors. Every product's lot number is recorded in your chart. Counterfeit and grey-market filler is a genuine problem in this industry — we can trace every syringe we've ever used.

02

We keep reversal agents on site

Hyaluronidase is stocked at all times and every injector is trained in vascular occlusion protocol. This is the emergency that matters in filler, and the response window is measured in hours.

03

Test patches before laser, always

Particularly for Fitzpatrick IV–VI. It costs you one extra visit and it prevents burns and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

04

Everything is charted

Photographs, products, lot numbers, units, injection sites, and your response — recorded every visit.

05

We decline treatments

If you're not a candidate, if your expectations aren't achievable, or if we think you've had enough, we'll say so.

Six months, three treatments,
one plan.

44, Fitzpatrick II, sun damage and early volume loss

“We treated pigment first, then texture, then volume — in that order deliberately. Adding filler to sun-damaged skin can make unevenness more noticeable. A thoughtful treatment sequence creates a more balanced result, and that sequence matters more than most people realise.”

Month two: pigment first.

Two IPL sessions, four weeks apart

“Her sun spots lifted by about seventy percent after two gentle IPL sessions. We let the skin settle completely before touching texture, because rushing is how results start to look done.”

Month four: texture, then firmness.

Two RF microneedling sessions, six weeks apart

“RF microneedling smoothed the texture across her cheeks and gave the skin back some of its firmness. Only once the surface was healthy did we plan any volume.”

Month six: a little volume, last.

One syringe, cheeks and tear troughs

“One syringe, split between the cheeks and tear troughs. Because the skin underneath was already healthy, a small amount went a long way. She looks rested, not treated.”

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve heard it all. Here’s everything you need to know before working with us.

ASK QUESTION

01

Will I look overdone?

Not if we're doing our job. We treat conservatively by default and would rather bring you back to add a little than have you wait out a result you don't like. You can also ask us to start with half of what's recommended.

02

Does it hurt?

Most people describe it as a quick pinch. We use fine needles, numbing cream where it helps, and filler that already contains a local anaesthetic, so the treatment itself is very manageable.

03

How soon can I go back to work?

For most injectables, straight away. You may see small pinpoint marks or slight swelling for a day or two. Laser and deeper skin treatments need two to five days, and we'll plan them around your calendar.

04

What if I don't like it?

Tell us. Every treatment includes a two-week follow-up, and small adjustments at that visit are included. Hyaluronic filler can also be dissolved, which is one reason we always start conservatively.

05

How much does it actually cost?

You'll get an exact, written price at your consultation, never a range. Neuromodulators start at $12 per unit and filler at $650 per syringe, and members save on every visit.

06

Do I need a consultation first?

Yes, for every new patient. It takes about 30 minutes, it's complimentary, and nothing is booked unless you want it to be. Returning patients can book treatments directly.

07

Can I bring someone with me?

Of course. A partner, friend or family member is welcome in the consultation and the treatment room, and many patients find a second opinion in the mirror reassuring.
